They say that every day is a school day, and pulling together the content for the June issue has certainly been that. While I am not known for my tech prowess, preferring a notepad and pen to any type of gadget, I have fully immersed myself in the latest tech innovations to explore the many and varied ways that our sector can improve operations and efficiencies and be fit for the future..
This issue is bursting with invaluable advice for wholesalers, large and small. From the eWholesale Collective’s AI in Wholesale webinar (see pages 49 to 50) to our feature on improving efficiencies (pages 41 to 46), there are countless ways for wholesalers to embrace the future and equip their teams to streamline operations, reduce costs, confusion and friction, and turn their focus to the areas of the business that deliver results.
Last month, I was lucky enough to attend the annual Diversity in Wholesale Speed Mentoring event, which never fails to be a day full of wisdom and inspiration. Events where women support women are truly empowering and uplifting and I would urge every woman in the sector to attend future events for the joyous jolt of energy it will deliver. If you missed it, you can catch up on the incredible keynote speech from Anna Whitehouse and some of the key takeaways from the mentoring session on pages 12-13.
