Castell Howell bolsters its fleet with UK first

Castell Howell Foods has announced its purchase of the UK’s first Volvo Trucks FH Aero NCAP Special Edition tractor unit

Finished in a striking black, yellow and gold livery, the vehicle carries a prestigious five-star rating secured by the FH Aero Euro NCAP heavy-duty truck safety tests. This score reflects the truck’s excellent performance on criteria such as driver support and collision avoidance, delivering enhanced traffic safety for the driver and surrounding road users.

Supplied by Volvo Truck and Bus Cymru based in Pembrokeshire, the FH Aero is powered by a D13K TC Step E engine that leverages turbo compounding to produce up to 500 hp and a peak torque of 2,800 Nm.
