Wholesaler takes home two top industry awards

An independent family-run wholesaler is celebrating after winning two of the top industry accolades at the TCS&D 2025 Awards

Castell Howell Foods have been awarded the Livery of the Year and Refrigerated Transport Operator of the Year trophies after the TCS&D judges praise their commitment to improvement and innovation.

The judges were impressed by how the Welsh wholesaler champions regional produce and Welsh farmers. The business collaborates with local authorities to get locally grown vegetables on school menus, which in turn supports the local economy and reduces food miles.

Director of Transport of Operations, Martin Jones, said: “We pride ourselves on helping our customers, colleagues and the communities we serve to grow and thrive. We do this by embedding social, cultural, environmental and economic sustainability across our business.
