Nominations open for FWD Gold Medal Awards 2025

The prestigious awards recognise the exceptional people, brands and businesses driving success across the food and drink wholesale sector

This year’s event takes place at Old Billingsgate, London, on Thursday 27 November, bringing together the industry’s most innovative and inspiring contributors for a night of celebration.

Open to all FWD wholesale and supplier members, the Gold Medals honour excellence across a wide range of categories – from Best New Retail Product and Sustainable Supplier to Best Foodservice Wholesaler and individual awards.

For 2025, FWD has introduced significant updates to the supplier award process.

James Bielby, chief executive of FWD, explains: “We’re excited to launch this year’s Gold Medal Awards with some exciting changes to the supplier award process. In previous years, awards for supplier brands have been nominated and voted on exclusively by our wholesale members.

“This year, we’re pleased to announce a new opportunity: FWD supplier members will be able to nominate their own brands and people for recognition, with winners selected by a panel of industry professionals.

“We believe this inclusive approach will provide a broader view of brand excellence across our industry. We encourage you to nominate your company, brands and colleagues across the various award categories.”
