Zig-Zag has launched a new marketing campaign with a total spend of pound;1.75m.
The initiative is designed to emphasise the stickiness of Zig-Zag rolling papers. The campaign is mainly above-the-line and features national taxi advertising in major cities such as Birmingham, Bristol, Manchester and Glasgow.
Illuminated posters and advertising in telephone boxes within the city centres aims to complement the taxi campaign.
Andrew Armstrong, managing director of Zig-Zag, said: “The more we invest in marketing the more rolling papers we sell, so as this is our biggest spend yet, we anticipate that new demands for the brand will be high.
The ideal situation would be the roll-your-owner who calls a Zig-Zag liveried cab from a telephone box which displays the Zig-Zag ad, who is then driven past the poster.”
