The Wrigley Company has announced that Wrigley’s has become the Official Chewing Gum of the Premier League.
The three-year deal will last until the end of the 2009/2010 football season and will feature TV advertising, a PR campaign and a presence on [http://www.premierleague.com] from the start of the 2007/2008 season.
Using the Wrigley’s Extra strapline the company will encourage fans to ‘get a little closer’ to the Premier League.
Toby Baker, marketing director of The Wrigley Company, said: “Thirteen million adults in the UK chew Extra every day and many of these watch and follow Premier League football so it is the ideal partnership for the brand.”
