Coca-Cola Enterprises is offering consumers the chance to win over one million iPods and iTunes songs.
As part of its ‘The Coke Side of Life’ marketing campaign, the music promotion is backed by a pound;3.9m media spend.
The integrated marketing campaign will be led by TV advertising with a 10-second music-specific advert as well as national and digital advertising, PR and promotional packaging.
Anita Huntley, head of carbonates of Coca-Cola Enterprises, said: “CCE is pleased to be celebrating summer by offering consumers the chance to once again win millions of prizes with iTunes, which we believe should be an even more motivating incentive to buy Coca-Cola and help to add significant incremental volume to the soft drinks category.”
According to CCE, last year global sales of downloaded music rose 82% and iTunes is market leader within the category with an 80% share.
Prizes will be given away every minute of every day for eight weeks from June 1 and will feature on key two litre, 500ml and multi-packs of Coca-Cola.
