Young’s has five sizes of fillets in battered and breaded style

Young’s, the supplier of seafood to the foodservice industry, is now offering its Battered and Breaded Premier Fillets in sizes ranging from small to jumbo.

Re-launching this month, the premier fillets will provide caterers with a product that is available in sizes, small, medium, large, extra large and jumbo.

Young’s claims the new range boasts its best ever batter, specially re-formulated to make the coated fillets crispier with a light texture.

To help caterers ensure they meet consumer preference for easier to eat fish, the cod is skinless as well as boneless.

Peter Milsted, director of Young’s Foodservice, said: “The re-launch of our premier fillets strengthens the existing range and brings caterers an even greater option for their menus, tailored to satisfy consumer demands. The new product is a unique concept in the marketplace and offers caterers a better way to satisfy evolving customer needs and stock control.”
