Typhoo has extended its range and been given a facelift designed to convey quality, freshness and expertise.
According to Typhoo, one of the key drivers most relevant to tea is the consumer demand for ‘back to basics’ products, while health is the key trend affecting tea market growth.
Three new speciality teas that are not currently available in retail, Assam, Earl Grey and English Breakfast, have been introduced, meaning caterers can provide a variety of teas out of home.
To improve ease of use for caterers Typhoo has changed its 250s, moving away from a tumble box to a dispense counter display unit. This aims to make it easy for caterers to merchandise the tea offerings, while benefiting from the display of the recognised brand. The 100s string and tag are now available in CDUs.
Sue Jones-Smithson, channel marketing manager of Typhoo, said: “With a new look and new products, the re-launch of Typhoo will reaffirm our position within the market and lead to more consumers searching for an ‘oo’ in their cuppa out of home.”
