Glendale Foods has announced the acquisition of Great British Pudding Company.
Paul Burkitt, MD of Glendale, said: “It represents a key brand extension to our existing product portfolio, strengthening our overall offering to the foodservice sector, particularly pubs, clubs, small hotels and restaurants, and introduces plenty of opportunities for new product development and market growth.”
The baked suet puddings can be microwaved from frozen in around five minutes and provide portion control. Due to being baked rather than steamed the Great British Puddings have a good visual presentation with sizes ranging between 370g, 250g, 190g and 150g. They are supplied individually, quick frozen and can be microwaved direct from the freezer or reheated in a conventional oven.
Flavours available include, Lamb Mint, Chicken Leek, Mediterranean Vegetables Spinach, Cherry Tomato Mozzarella. Dessert flavours include, Sticky Toffee Pudding with Toffee Sauce and Woodland Fruits.
