Rich Products, supplier of bakery goods, has launched its Filled Cookie.
The American-style cookies are available in Chocolate Cookie with a cream filling and Vanilla Cookie with a milk chocolate filling. Rich’s is aiming to inject excitement and innovation into the cookie sector.
Gail Lindsay, marketing manager of Rich’s, said: “Cookies are extremely popular with consumers, but there is a definite gap in the market and demand for a high quality, but affordable offering in the standard sector. These delicious Filled Cookies fill this gap – providing something completely unique, innovative and exciting that aims to drive market growth forward.”
According to Rich’s, standard brands make up the largest sector of the cookie market, taking 48.5% value share, but the strongest growth driving the category has, in the past few years, been mostly in the premium sector. Filled Cookies have been designed to strengthen the standard cookie sector by offering consumers a high quality, yet affordable treat.
