Pritchitts introduces its Creative Base for sweet and savoury dishes

Pritchitts has launched a new product that offers a base for all types of recipes.

Creative Base combines cream with gelatine to provide a stable cream base that can be used across a variety of sweet and savoury applications.

Simon Muschamp, head of marketing at Pritchitts, said: “Creating stable dishes like terrines and mousses in significant quantities can be challenging. As Creative Base only sets on refrigeration, the working window of opportunity is increased, making larger quantities and delicate recipes much easier to manage. Creative Base is highly versatile and can be blended with many other ingredients, making it perfect for chefs.”

Creative Base eliminates the separation of liquids, so it can be used for binding scrambled eggs or sandwich fillings. It can be stored and used from ambient but needs to be refrigerated once opened. It has a shelf life of six months and is available in 12 one litre Tetra packs.
