Nestlé FoodServices has launched user-friendly packaging for its entire range of Chef fonds, fumets and jus.
The stocks and sauces can be used as they are or as a base for chefs to add their own personal touch. The new packs are designed to be easy to handle, stack and store, and have re-sealable lids. They can be microwaved and can stand temperatures from -25ÂºC to 90ÂºC. Each pack includes preparation instructions, information on the yield per pack and allergies and ingredients.
The range includes: Fumet de Poisson (fish stock), Fonds Blanc de Volaille (white chicken stock), Fonds Brun Clair (basic brown stock), Fonds de Legumes (vegetable stock), Jus d’Agneau (lamb jus) all in 800g and Jus de Veau Lié (thickened veal jus) in 900g.
The range comes in dehydrated format, has a low salt content, no MSG and a shelf life of 18 months.
