Macphie introduces additional coulis flavour to its ku-li range

Macphie, an independent food ingredients manufacturer, has launched a new addition to its range of fruit coulis.

Sour Cherry ku-li has been launched to coincide with national cherry day on July 18. It is made from morello cherries and comes in a squeezable bottle with a fine nozzle. It can be used for sweet and savoury dishes on poultry, game, desserts, cheeses and starters.

To support the launch Macphie is running a competition to win a Ferrari Driving Experience and a hamper of Macphie goodies. To enter chefs need to prepare their favourite dish using cherries and email the recipe to cherry@macphie.com or visit www.macphie.com/cherry. The closing date for entries is July 31.

The ku-li range includes Raspberry and Mango flavours and can be stored at room temperature for six to nine months. Once opened they can be stored in the fridge for up to seven days and comes in a case of 12x475g bottles.
