Heinz Baked Beanz has launched a new Reduced Sugar and Salt variant available in 415g and 2.62kg, with 50% less salt and 25% less sugar compared to standard Heinz Baked Beans.
Commenting on the launch Amanda Sutherland, brand manager from Heinz Foodservice, said: “It makes sense that we listen to our consumers and respond to their needs and wants. At the same time though we need to know that our customers will make money from any new product we release and we have therefore invested a lot of time and research into this launch and we are confident that this will become a very popular brand extension.”
In addition, a promotion will run on standard 2.62kg Heinz Baked Beans during August and September offering the chance to win a one-to-one masterclass with Steve Munkley – executive chef of the Royal Garden Hotel, Kensington London.
The winner will work alongside Munkley for three days to develop skills such as presentation and menu development. The prize also includes three nights at the Royal Garden Hotel. A further 100 caterers will win a month’s supply of Heinz Baked Beanz.
