Heinz Foodservice has launched a range of ready to use Best of British flavours.
The new range includes Roasted Tomato Herb, Creamy Mushroom, Traditional Ale Onion, Zesty Lemon Parsley and Classic Red Wine, available in 2.2kg jars.
The range is designed to help caterers celebrate British cuisine and offer multi-usage, enabling caterers to change menus regularly. The sauces can be used as ingredients in meals or as serving sauces.
Emily Frank, brand manager of Heinz Foodservice, said: The cooking sauces market is growing by 3.9% a year, currently valued at pound;88m, but traditional ‘white and brown’ sauces are massively under-represented, despite showing the strongest growth.
“Heinz Foodservice has developed its delicious array of new sauces in direct response to caterers’ pleas for an easy-to-use range and demand for more choice on menus from consumers.”
