EHL Ingredients, an importer, blender and packer of food ingredients from around the world, is entering into the catering and foodservice sector with the launch of a new packaging format for large-scale chefs and contract caterers.
The 2.5kg tubs are designed for chefs and caterers in the cost sector and in hotels, pubs and restaurants.
Chefs can choose from over 300 herbs and spices, including 200 organic products and 50 custom blends.
The plastic tubs have a re-sealable lid and a shelf life of up to 12 months when stored in a cool, dry environment.
Tasneem Backhouse, sales director at EHL Ingredients, said: “We developed this format, following demand from chefs and caterers in the foodservice sector. We have taken our industry knowledge, sourcing expertise and strong relationships with suppliers and translated this into our new packaging format for caterers.”
