Aviko is introducing two variants of its Superlong Fries, original Superlongs and Skin On Superlongs.
Mohammed Essa, general manager of Aviko, said: “We are putting the fun back into fries and going to extra lengths to keep caterers firmly in the driving seat when it comes to offering value for money and a real point of difference, all the while monitoring the market for emerging trends.
“Skin on fries are very much the taste of the moment with consumers. Aviko’s Skin On Superlongs have a deep golden colour that looks fantastic on the plate. Also, the fact that they are longer means caterers will be able to get more portions per kg.”
Skin On Superlongs are supplied frozen in widths of 9.5mm and 11mm, the original Superlongs come in 7.4mm and 9.5mm.
