WKD is being launched in pound;4.99 price-marked promotional four-packs which will be sold exclusively through the convenience/wholesale/cash amp; carry sectors.
The price-marked promotional packs (PMPs) of WKD Blue, Iron Brew and Purple, will be available from March until the end of the year, and are prominently flashed with “only pound;4.99 result!”.
The new packs will be packaged in shrink-wrapped trays of 6 x 4 x 275ml bottles, and cash and carries are being supplied with posters and stacker cards enabling them to highlight the promotion in depot.
Debs Carter, marketing director at Beverage Brands, said: “The 4-pack is the biggest-selling multipack format, and that share is growing, particularly in impulse stores where we have seen a significant acceleration in the increase of 4-pack sales.
“PMPs are very effective in communicating value to consumers and with the growing support from convenience retailers for this type of promotion, we feel the time is right to make WKD available in PMP 4-packs.”
