Strongbow revamps packaging and launches impulse activity

Strongbow is aiming to reinforce its position as the UK’s number one cider with a new look.

Sarah Maddock, marketing manager – Strongbow at S N UK, said: “While Strongbow remains by far the number one cider brand, we are keen to maintain its position at the cutting edge of the cider market. Our new Strongbow packaging aims to increase the brand’s prominence on the shelf, while reinforcing its qualities as a refreshing, thirst quenching drink which ‘Rewards Hard Graft’.”

Special Strongbow activity has also been launched in the impulse channel through a ‘text to win/enter online’ promotion, enabling consumers to win ‘daily grafter rewards’ including a laptop, 37″ LCD TV, a VIP Festival weekend, an iPod, an iPod dock and a home surround sound system.

S N UK has produced point of sale display material to support the promotion within 10,000 stores, providing posters, counter top and display units.
