Jygsaw Brands is refreshing Scrumpy Jack in the off-trade with new packaging that celebrates the brand’s heritage and provenance.
The refresh sets out to communicate the brand’s heritage with Symonds Hereford Cider Pressers, dating from 1727, at a time when consumers are seeking the reassurance of quality brands with genuine provenance and tradition.
Michael Hardy, trading director of Jygsaw Brands, commented: “With Scrumpy Jack we had a wonderful opportunity to look at what the brand stood for in consumers minds.
“We found that Scrumpy Jack was recognised as a taste of the English countryside and at the heart of village life.
“One thing less apparent to consumers was the genuine heritage that Scrumpy Jack has coming from Symonds Hereford Cider Pressers established way back in 1727.”
