Bacardi Rum has launched a new global advertising campaign entitled ‘You In?’.
The media package, valued at pound;8m in the UK alone, will consist of two TV and cinema adverts and five outdoor posters.
The first TV adverts features two friends dressed as salmon running the New York Marathon in the opposite direction to everyone else. The second has friends drinking Bacardi with various people in their building as they climb up successive floor to keep in the sunlight as they drink.
The five posters carry the ‘You In?’ message and have a twist on classic signs.
Andrew Carter, marketing director of Bacardi Brown-Forman Brands, said: “Our ultimate goal is to generate greater consumer affinity with Bacardi rum and ensure that we are really engaging our core consumers with the fantastic ‘You In?’ campaign.”
