Merrydown has introduced a contemporary new look across its range of ciders.
The new labelling focuses on a stylised apple tree laden with fruit, underpinning Merrydown’s use of the juice of eating apples. The year of the apple harvest also features on the front of the bottles.
Merrydown managing director Chris Carr said: “Putting the year on the bottles emphasises Vintage’s status as a premium quality cider. We are extremely proud of Merrydown’s unique history and heritage and the date of the very first bottling – 1946 – is also flagged up within a premium quality seal.”
A summer campaign aims to position Vintage as the perfect accompaniment to al fresco and barbecue eating. The new look also extends across Merrydown’s 440ml gold and silver cans of Medium and Dry Vintage Cider.
