Khulu Sky gets into plastic fantastic

Roger Harris Wines has launched Khulu Sky in a PET format.

The South African wine is packaged in a lightweight long-life PET and comes in Chenin Blanc, Shiraz and Pinotage Rosé.

The wines, which will be available in resealable and 100% recyclable 75cl and 18.7cl multi-layer PET bottles, are aimed at informal dining and for serving outdoors, for example at sports events and in pub gardens.

Clare Montgomery, sales director at Roger Harris Wines, said: “The Khulu Sky range is all about fun and freedom. We want people to be able to get out and about and enjoy drinking Khulu Sky.”

The wines are produced under WIETA (Wine Industry Ethical Trade Association) certification and are aimed at cutting the carbon footprint in transportation and distribution.
