John Smith’s seeks to engage with darts fans by launching Flight Club

The launch of a new promotion through the UK’s biggest ale brand, John Smith’s Extra Smooth, will give darts fans the chance to ‘check out’ with more than their favourite beer.

The John Smith’s Flight Club promotion is now available across all trade channels. It includes a text to win competition promoted on all multipacks and 6-can packs, with multipacks also featuring a token offering discounts on darts equipment for the home.

The off trade activity runs alongside the launch of the John Smith’s Flight Club website; which enables consumers to join the club to receive newsletters, enter competitions and watch darts masterclasses with eight professional mentors including Bobby George and Tony O’Shea.

S N UK’s head of customer marketing for the off trade, Shaun Heyes, said: “John Smith’s is engaging with its consumers by supporting one of their core pastimes at the grass roots. John Smith’s Flight Club enhances the at home drinking occasion, encouraging consumers to set up their own darts club and gives them the chance to win tickets to sell-out darts tournaments.”
