Blackthorn focuses on the south-west

Gaymer Cider Company has announced a pound;1m investment in Blackthorn cider, focused on its south-west England heartland.

The outdoor advertising will have the strap line ‘Blackthorn Country’ and will be supported with images of key south-west landmarks, including the Somerset cider orchards.

Other sites include Bristol’s Clifton Suspension Bridge, Bath’s Pultney Bridge and the Somerset County Cricket Ground in Taunton.

John Mills, managing director of Gaymer Cider Company, said: “As the biggest selling cider in the region, Blackthorn cider is synonymous with the South West and it is key that this link and heritage is maintained in the advertising.
