Accolade Wines is targeting the convenience channel in a major push behind a range of four new wine-based ready-to-serve drinks.
%%IMAGE%%The new products are Peach and Strawberry versions of a Hardys Bellini cocktail, the sparkling wine-based Banrock Station Infusions Summer Berries, and Stone’s Ginger Punch – a mix of Stone’s Ginger Wine with lime and lemonade.
All are in 25cl cans, a successful format for premixed spirit-mixer and ready-to-serve cocktails, which is worth £59 million in the off-trade and growing at a rate of 37%, based on latest Nielsen data. Accolade said the range had already achieved “significant” listings in the convenience channel, including with the One Stop chain.
The launch is backed by print ads and in-store displays.
