Accolade Wines highlights British heritage of Stone’s ginger wine

Accolade Wines has announced the launch of ‘Fabulously British’ limited edition packaging for Stone’s ginger wine, which will be available in key off-trade outlets from April until September 2012.

The packaging, which encapsulates the brand’s British heritage, will incorporate a Union Jack on the label and has been designed to add maximum impact on-shelf and drive brand visibility during the summer.

Clare Griffiths, European marketing director at Accolade Wines, said: “As the UK’s number one, Stone’s performs exceptionally well throughout winter and the Christmas season, and has 70% branded market share.

“Building on this success, there is a fantastic opportunity to drive the brand forward and boost awareness throughout the summer season. 2012 is a big year for British consumers, with much to celebrate, and as a brand with 250 years of British heritage, Stone’s is the perfect accompaniment to these celebrations.”
