United Biscuits (UBUK) has announced a partnership with environmental charity World Wildlife Fund (WWF).
The partnership is designed to inform families with young children about the work that WWF undertakes and why conservation is an important issue. McVitie’s will be providing consumers with the opportunity to adopt a penguin as well as donating 1p from every pack sold to the fund.
Nick Stuart, commercial manager of UBUK, said: “The partnership with the WWF will help raise awareness of environmental issues and help kids develop an interest in social matters from an early age.”
UBUK has also brought back Dark Chocolate Hob Nobs, due to popular demand. The dark Hob Nobs will sit with Hob Nobs and Milk Chocolate Hob Nobs.
Stuart said: “We expect the Dark Chocolate Hob Nobs to be extremely popular with consumers and they will offer even more sales and profit opportunities to retailers to capitalise on this growing trend.
