Trident gum launch is supported by a pound;10m marketing campaign

Cadbury Trebor Bassett is introducing Trident chewing gun to the UK.

The launch will be supported with a pound;10m marketing campaign including TV and outdoor advertising, digital media, and PR.

According to CTB the UK is one of the top 10 gum markets in the world, currently worth pound;241m.

CTB will be launching Trident Splash in Strawberry Lime and Vanilla Mint and Trident Soft in Peppermint and Tropical Twist.

Trident Splash is packed in a blister pack to maximise freshness. Trident Soft is packed in a re-sealable flip-open envelope pack for easy access.

Mike Tipping, head of customer relations of Cadbury Trebor Bassett, said: “We are delighted and extremely excited about entering the chewing gum market in the UK with Trident. It is a huge brand with a proven track record for growing the gum category around the world.”

Trident Splash has an RRP of 50p and Trident Soft has an RRP of 69p.
