Tetley takes Green Tea to the digital world

This week sees the start of Tetley’s very first digital campaign for its range of Green Teas.

Part of a £500,000 support programme, it is targeted at consumers who have searched for health or detox online and sees a range of high profile sites carrying a banner campaign including The Daily Mail; Women’s Health; Easy Living; Marie Claire and Weight Watchers and MSN. 

The campaign includes two executions, one for Tetley Pure and one for its flavoured variants.  With the messages ‘Healthy Green Tea and Nowt Else’  and ‘… bursting with fruitiness,’ they feature Gaffer lying on a bed of tea leaves with nothing but a few falling tea leaves to preserve his modesty! 

“Green teas are among the key growth areas in tea and their appeal is growing.  We know that shoppers respond well to adverts featuring The Tea Folk and we hope this fun campaign will tempt even more people to give green teas a try and adopt them into their daily tea drinking routine. “says Andrew Pearl Director of Customer and Shopper Marketing.
