Shloer advises soft drinks for Christmas

Shloer, the soft drinks brand, is urging retailers to think about stocking up on ‘must have’ items now to avoid consumer disappointment and loss of sales caused by out of stocks over Christmas.

Shloer says year on year sales growth proves consumers still want the choice of sparkling non-alcoholic alternatives.

According to Shloer, Neilsen data for 2006 shows the key dates for purchase of adult soft drinks during and around Christmas start in late November/early December before peaking, with Shloer sales at nearly 2,000,000 bottles a week, in the few days before Christmas, proving that impulse and last-minute purchase is still a major sales opportunity.
