PepsiCo has teamed up with Gallo Family Vineyards to offer a Walkers Sensations Divine with Wine promotion.
According to PepsiCo, currently 20% of all Sensations consumption in the evening occurs with wine, making it the highest indexing crisps brand with wine. And research shows the figure is growing at 23% year-on-year.
Sensations Divine with Wine will include an in-pack promotion with nearly pound;3m worth of coupons offering free bottles of Gallo Family Vineyards wine or money off the next Gallo Family Vineyards purchase.
Jon Goldstone, vice president of marketing at Walkers, said: “This promotion is a natural winner that we believe our consumers will love. Heavyweight consumer activity will include national sampling events with Gallo that will gain even greater presence for both brands.”
Sensations Divine with Wine will continue to run after the promotion with Gallo Family Vineyards ends, with on-pack ‘taste notes’ that will recommend selected wine to accompany the chosen flavour of Sensations.
