Pringles aims to feed the force

Pringles is launching its biggest ever movie tie-in this Spring with Star Wars Episode III Revenge of the Sith.

The brand is offering an on-pack promotion – Win the Pringles Jedi Challenge – which will be available on four Pringles 200g flavours in time for the launch of the film on May 19.
Cans will feature special Revenge of the Sith themed character matches. Inside special cans of Pringles across May and June consumers who find a lightsaber sticker under their seal will win Star Wars prizes.

The top prize will be a five-day family holiday in California. It will include two half days of training with the Lucasfilm stunt team in the lightsaber fighting techniques used by Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi in the film.

Thousands of other Star Wars prizes such as lightsabers, DVDs and t-shirts will also be won.

Paul Lettice, Procter Gamble’s trade marketing manager, commented “Pringles Win the Jedi Challenge is one of the most exciting on-pack promotions Pringles has ever done. Revenge of the Sith has massive consumer awareness among all consumer groups and we expect this promotion to be a big success.”
