Wrigley is launching price-marked packs (PMPs) across selected packs of Extra, Starburst and Skittles, which will be exclusive to the wholesale/cash and carry channel.
Wrigley is introducing PMPs for handy boxes of Extra Peppermint and Extra Spearmint, priced at pound;1, Fruit Stick price-marked packs at 45p and 55g Skittles Fruits price marked at 45p.
Duncan McCulloch, Wrigley sales director, commented: “In today’s challenging economic environment, consumers are increasingly conscious of buying products that represent good value for money and are more likely to actively seek out items that provide this. The visible PMPs reassure shoppers they are getting the best value for money from their local stores, as well as offering retailers an incremental chance to boost sales.”
