InBev UK has launched a range of price-marked packs to stimulate impulse purchase and drive beer volume.
The move is intended to help independent retailers generate more impulse sales and is prompted by anticipated growing customer demand in the build-up to the World Cup.
The company has brought out new added-value packs of Stella Artois, Beck’s and Tennent’s Lager in the wholesale sector. The price-marked range includes: 10-packs of Stella Artois 250ml stubby bottles price-marked pound;5.99; 8-pack Stella Artois 440ml cans at pound;7; 6-pack Beck’s 275ml bottles at pound;5; 8-pack Beck’s 440ml cans at pound;7; and an 8-pack of Tennent’s Lager 440ml cans, available in Scotland price marked pound;5.50.
Des Ewing, director of customer relationships wholesale at InBev UK, said: “Price-marked packs communicate immediate value to shoppers, stimulating impulse purchase.”
