Pennine Spring is being launched into the cash and carry and the on-trade market by its new owner Britvic.
In a phased launch, still and sparkling Pennine Spring will be first available in new 500ml plastic bottles and screw tops, which will also be offered with sports cap.
This is being followed by 330ml and one litre non-returnable glass bottles and in April it will be launched in a 750ml bottle with sports cap.
Purchased as part of the Ben Shaw’s water acquisition in November, Pennine Spring will feature new pack labels designed to enhance awareness of the brand’s northern heritage.
“Water represents a huge opportunity with consumers focusing on health and well being,” says Britvic brand director Richard Collins. “Our investment will drive sales of Pennine Spring and the entire category for our customers.”
