United Biscuits is demonstrating its commitment to the UK’s growing health concerns by investing pound;1.5m to support the relaunch and re-formulation of its Mini Cheddars range. They will now contain 30% less saturated fat, 10% less sodium, no MSG and no artificial colours, flavours of preservatives.
To highlight this re-formulation Mini Cheddars are now sporting bold new packaging, designed to display nutritional benefits and ‘same great taste’ to consumers at point of purchase.
In addition UB has introduced a new product, Mini Cheddars Morso’s. Morso’s are bite-sized cheese biscuits with a lighter flakier texture, topped with cheese sprinkles. Aimed at group sharing occasions, they come in 150g sharing sized bags. The new flavours are: Mediterranean Herbs with Cheese, Toasted Cheese with Sweet Garlic and Cheddar Cheese Spring Onion.
Morso’s bags have an RRP of pound;1.29 and cases hold packs of 10.
