Britvic and PepsiCo are launching a national TV and press campaign for Gatorade.
The ‘we love sweat’ campaign aims to capture the emotion felt by athletes giving their all during sport and exercise. The advert communicates that Gatorade is designed to replace everything lost due to sweat and refuel muscles, without artificial sweeteners, colours, flavours and preservatives. The advert features sportsmen such as Usain Bolt, Delon Armitage and Kaka.
Darren Morris, senior brand manager for Gatorade at Britvic, said: “The new advertising campaign highlights that Gatorade can help anyone taking part in physically demanding activity, through giving back what is lost through sweat. It also draws attention to the fact that we are the only credible sports drink on the market with a no artificial proposition. We are positive that this campaign will increase consumer awareness and drive trial of the product, which we know has strong repeat rates with our consumers.”
