Dolmio has launched ‘Best Ever’ Bolognese sauces with a pound;4m support package.
The Dolmio range of sauces is designed to offer ‘kitchen cupboard’ ingredients and recipes and a home made taste. The recipe now contains three times more tomato chunks than before and 10 tomatoes in each jar.
The recipes have replaced citric acid with lemon juice and have seen the removal of starch.
New labelling has been designed to offer greater stand-out of shelf and show the GDA and five-a-day messaging.
Suzanne McFarlin of Dolmio said: “The new range provides customers with a great tasting Bolognese sauce that the whole family will love. Dolmio offers retailers great stand-out on shelf as well as all the benefits of an extensive advertising campaign that will be on air from September.”
Dolmio Chunky varieties will be renamed Extras and moved under the Extras sub-brand.
