Diageo injects £4m into launch of RTD

Diageo is aiming to invigorate the ready-to-drink (RTD) category with the launch of Archers Vea backed by a £4m launch spend.
Archers Vea is a sparkling RTD in a range of fruit tastes; wildberry, tropical, and apple.

Jane Sutcliffe, marketing manager for Archers, said: “Archers Vea is aimed at 21-30- year-old females and offers a light, refreshing fruit flavour. We are supporting Archers Vea with a heavyweight TV, poster, and sampling campaign to signal its launch to consumers, drive awareness and stimulate trial.”
Single (275ml) bottles and four packs of Archers Vea are available now and 70cl bottles will be available from July.
