Cadbury Trebor Bassett has invested pound;4m in its Cadbury Snaps brand and added a new variant, Caramel Crunch.
The advertising campaign will include new TV adverts, Coronation Street credits and in-store sampling.
The new flavour has an RRP of pound;1.75; the outers are packed in 12s.
