Combining the power of Pepsico

Walkers and Pepsi have joined together for the first time with an on-pack promotion with five million ‘50p off’ vouchers for Pepsi Max or Pepsi Max Twist 500ml inserted in packs of Walkers Crisps.

The promotion, starting in June and running for five weeks only, will feature across 60 million packs of the top six flavoured Walkers crisps.

PepsiCo vice president sales Andy Williams commented: “When we formed PepsiCo UK in 2003, one of our objectives was to leverage our portfolio of brands to work more closely together. We see this as the first such major initiative and are confident that it will deliver strong volume sales for our retail partners across both brands.”

PepsiCo trade marketing manager Nicky Seal added: “As well as encouraging impulse purchases we are also anticipating sales of Pepsi Max will increase during the promotional period as winners collect their discounted bottles.”
