Bendicks (Mayfair) has introduced a new brand position, ‘It’s the Bendicks that counts’, which will be backed by a £2m advertising campaign in the run up to Christmas.
A new more contemporary logo will be introduced across the current range from August and will also be introduced on the Mingles brand, to bring all Bendicks boxed chocolates under the new Bendicks brand.
Autumn 2005 will also see the introduction of Bendicks Chocolate Confections and Bendicks Gorgeous.
Bendicks Chocolate Confections is an assortment of hand-finished milk, dark and white chocolates in 215g packs (rsp £6.99). Gorgeous is an assortment of five individually wrapped bite-size chocolates aimed at younger women.
Bendicks will be placing in-pack leaflets in 500,000 Mint Collection 200g packs from September, highlighting the new products.
