United Biscuits is set to launch a new collection of biscuits, McVities Moments, aimed at the “special treat” sector. They are described as a response to the growing trend of consumers willing to pay a premium for high quality ingredient treats.
Created using Belgian chocolate, McVitie’s Moments are designed to be an indulgent treat.
The new range includes Chocolate Toffee Crunch and Chocolate Viennese Melt. The biscuits are set for launch next month and have an RRP of pound;1.49, with eight in a case.
To support and promote the new brand there is a pound;2.5m marketing support programme, TV advertising and in store sampling.
