Woodward Foodservice has broadened its product range by offering fresh fruit and vegetables for the first time.
The range extends from potatoes, herbs and salad leaves to apples, papayas and figs and any fresh produce order can be included within a normal Woodward consignment and will be delivered on the same multi-temperature delivery.
Emma Parry, marketing manager at Woodward Foodservice, said: “Woodward prides itself on being able to provide a one-stop-shop for chefs and caterers, offering them the best in quality and convenience. The introduction of new fresh fruit and vegetables means we now have one of the most extensive ranges on offer for the caterer.
“Our objective has been to provide a large selection of fresh fruit and vegetables to make product selection easier for our customers so they can then concentrate on making their guests’ eat-out experience truly worthwhile.
“The added benefit is that, thanks to our multi-temperature service, caterers can get their order of frozen, chilled, ambient and non-food products in the same delivery.”
Woodward is part of the Brakes Group, and its fresh fruit and vegetables are supplied by Brakes’ fresh produce specialist arm, Pauleys.
