Walkers is celebrating the launch of the “Bring It Back” campaign with a depot takeover and twitter competition giving wholesale customers the chance to win stock.
“Bring it Back” allows crisp lovers to vote for their favourite flavour to rejoin the Walkers portfolio. The depot takeover, taking place on Thursday 20 August at Bestway Batleys on Abbey Road will see the first 50 retailers through the doors winning a free case of “Bring It Back” stock for their store. The Walkers team will also be on hand sampling the latest flavours, giving away PoS materials and offering merchandising advice on how to maximise sales for the limited edition flavours.
And for those unavailable to attend the depot, Walkers is offering 10 retailers the chance to win a free case of “Bring It Back’” stock via a new twitter competition. From Thursday August 20 until September 10, retailers will need to simply vote on Twitter for the flavour that they would like to bring back to the Walkers portfolio. For a chance of winning, retailers must follow and tag the trade Pepsico twitter handle: @PepsiCo_UKTrade, use the hashtag: #WalkersBringItBack and include an image of the Bring It Back pack they would like to bring back.
The “Bring It Back” range is available in store now. Crisp lovers can vote for their favourite flavour to come back and join the Walkers range via www.walkers.co.uk and social media channels. Marmite flavour has already returned to the portfolio and consumers can now choose from: Barbeque, Lamb & Mint, Toasted Cheese, Beef & Onion, and Cheese & Chive.
The winning variant will be brought back into the portfolio and all those who vote will have the chance to win £100,000, as well as weekly prizes.
The range is available in single packs (RRP £0.57), grab bags (RRP £0.89), a six-pack multipack (RRP £1.50) and a 24-pack multipack (RRP £4.00). Support includes a new TV campaign, digital and in-store shopper marketing.
