Walkers bags Gold Medal Grocery Brand

PepsiCo UK amp;I is delighted to receive the Gold Medal for the Grocery Brand of the Year for Walkers crisps.

South goes on to explain that despite commanding a value in excess of £1.1bn, according to Nielsen for the year ending October 22, Walkers has outperformed the total category with year-on-year growth of 6.7% and is the only top five brand to have grown its overall market share during the past year. He says this has been achieved by delivering exciting NPD and enticing market campaigns, and the wholesale channel has been instrumental in helping to deliver this.
