New duty stamped spirits stock is arriving in depot but we still have a lot of unstamped stock of slower sellers to clear. Off trade spirits sales have been in the doldrums for some time. Diageo is still plugging away on Gordon’s Sloe Gin and is determined to make Pimm’s an around the year drink with activity on its No.3 Winter variant. Plenty of interest being shown for the premium New Zealand vodka brand 42 Below, which will be a lot easier source now that Bacardi has taken over the company.
Belgian chocolate producers Guylian is also on to a winter winner with its Praline Cream Liqueur. It’s a pity you can only buy it at Sainsbury’s!
