Today’s unveils award-winners at Ascot

Last week Today’s Group celebrated the achievements of its wholesale members and retailers at its trade show Awards dinner, held at Ascot Racecourse.

Biggest winner of the night was Scots wholesaler JW Filshill, which scooped two awards – for IT Initiative and Outstanding Contribution to Wholesale. Other winners included: John Mower amp; Company (Foodservice Operator of the Year); Savage amp; Whitten Wholesale (Symbol Operator of the Year); Dhamecha Foods (TRC  Operator of the Year); London fruit and veg specialist Holland Bazaar (Rising Star);  Blackburn’s largest C amp;C operator, Khanjra International Foods (Corporate Social Responsibility Initiative); Shetland-based grocery and hardware wholesaler Hughson Brothers (Member of the Year);

Bill Laird said: “We would like to congratulate all of our members and retailers. Today’s is proud to work with the most insightful and ambitious companies and individuals in the industry. We wish them all continued success during 2015 and beyond.”

The Awards evening followed a successful first day of the Today’s trade show, an exclusive members’ only event, where wholesalers and suppliers spent their time negotiating and networking.
